Butyl

Butyl Rubber is a copolymer of isobutylene and a small amount of isoprene. It is a very good general-purpose rubber for many applications. Butyl rubber is known for its excellent impermeability to gases, as well as its flexibility and weather resistance makes it great for industrial applications. This gasket material is essential for seals and protection in chemical industries with high concentrations of mineral acids and alkalis.
